Project Description

This proposal presents a modular tea stall designed for a park-side setting, focusing on economic efficiency, sustainability, and rural cultural integration in urban subareas. The bamboo and wood structure ensures affordability, ease of assembly, and mobility, making it adaptable to various urban or rural environments. The half-sliced bamboo roofing, secured without nylon sheets, naturally repels water, while an inclined roof with a gutter system enables rainwater harvesting for plant irrigation. The stall is divided into three key zones: a kitchen area with a depressed stove section for safety and ergonomic workflow, a seating space with bamboo stools integrated into a modular table for space optimization, and a smoking zone enclosed with perforated bamboo walls and air-purifying plants like Snake Plant and Areca Palm to filter cigarette smoke. The tea stall also offers newspapers, creating a welcoming social space. A clearly displayed menu enhances customer experience, while biodegradable waste management bags and separate bins for organic and non-organic waste promote sustainability. For shading local plants such as bottle gourd and pumpkin plants are used. The vendor can sell these organic vegetables to the customers. Local trees provide natural shading, reinforcing the eco-friendly approach. By integrating modular adaptability, ergonomic design, and environmentally responsible features, this tea stall functions as an efficient, sustainable, and culturally vibrant gathering space within an urban park..
