In the heart of Dhaka, Claymire brought together a world of ideas, creativity, and cultural reflection through A Place of Stories – Designing the Tea Stall, an international design exhibition held at Alliance Française de Dhaka.From over 1,000 global participants across 400 teams, 30 remarkable tea stall designs were showcased—each telling a story of community, imagination, and human connection. What began as a design challenge evolved into a celebration of shared experiences and inclusive public space.The exhibition space transformed into a platform for storytelling—through design that speaks to resilience, belonging, and the rituals that define our everyday lives.

The evening was enriched by a group of inspiring guests and speakers.
François Grosjean, Director of Alliance Française de Dhaka, highlighted the importance of cross-cultural dialogue.
Farhana Rashid, architect and founder of Bhumijo, emphasized the potential of design to create inclusive, people-first spaces.
Shishir Bhattacharjee, celebrated artist and professor, added a thoughtful lens on the social dimensions of everyday life.

At Claymire, we believe that design is a language of people and place. Through this exhibition, we took one small everyday object—a tea stall—and uncovered the many stories it holds.
