Project Description
A tea stall is not just a tea stall, it is a place for gathering and a hub for communicating. A tea stall not only sells tea it also sells various kinds of goods, such as cigarettes, chips, biscuits, chocolates etc. Cigarettes are the most commonly bought items along with tea from a tea stall. But a lot of non-smoker people also goes to tea stall, they might find it uncomfortable in the cigarette smoke.
From a tea sellers perspective, if his stall becomes portable it would be easy for him to sell at various location that might be commercially more effective. Considering these facts, we came up with a design of a tea stall that has:
1. Separate zones for smokers and non-smokers: This will ensure that both smokers and non-smokers are comfortable. This will reduce the risks of passive smoking.
2. Portability: The tea stall is designed to be portable. The stall can be moved like a cart. There are two independent wheels at the both sides of the stall, which will ensure movement and maneuver. 3. Compactibility: The tea stall has foldable seating arrangement and shades. When not in use they can be folded and easily carried anywhere.
4. Safety: To ensure fire safety we separated serving zone and cooking zone. Also, we included fire safety equipments inside the tea stall.
We, also used locally available materials like wood, corrugated sheets. We think, these implications will enhance the experience of both the customer and the seller.
