Project Description

Context and Concept

A tea stall is more than just a stall; it's also a location full of interesting stories. Different types of plays are performed here, just as they would at a theatre. People of all stages enjoy having tea here. They may be alone, with friends, or with their spouses. Every sip of tea shares thoughts and events from one’s life.

The dogs are an undeniable member of the tea stall. In every tea stall, we may find a dog sitting or wriggling their tails for customers to share. People will leave after having tea, but the dogs will remain till the next morning.

Design Considerations

We created a tea stall with a tiny footprint and local materials so that the owner with a minimal budget can start a business by building this structure. Though simplistic, it serves a practical purpose.

The modular technique is used in the seating area, which also serves as a table for the tea maker. During the day, clients can pull the frame off the table and sit on it. But at night, it will work as shading for dogs. As a result, there will be shelters for street dogs.

Along with the shop, there is a linear container that can hold dog food and water. The wastewater used to make tea will be purified by a small filter attached to the structure before being channelled into the dog container.

A solar panel and ventilation for smoke is also provided along with the structure.
