Project Description
Tea stalls are lively spaces where people gather to enjoy refreshing tea. Perfect for quick breaks, casual chats, and energizing moments, tea is most delightful on rainy days or cozy winter evenings.
Sajek Valley, surrounded by misty hills and breathtaking views, is a serene escape for nature lovers and tourists. A recent devastating fire in February 2025 affected many local establishments, including traditional tea vendors. Our tea stall design is inspired from this emotional place, aiming to restore its natural charm and support the community.
Our tea stall is designed with sustainability at its core, using vernacular materials to minimize carbon footprint and ensure rapid production for quick deployment. We embrace traditional methods by crafting tea cups from bamboo and serving snacks on plates made from bamboo, banana, and corn leaves, all sourced locally, which will also promote the local craftsmen. To further enhance sustainability, we've implemented rainwater harvesting for drinking water and solar panels to power the entire stall, ensuring an energy-efficient operation. Recycled tea leaves are repurposed as plant pots, contributing to waste management and creating a green environment. The stall is fully portable, allowing it to move seamlessly between locations and participate in local festivals, fostering community connections and promoting regional crafts. Its mobility ensures accessibility, making it a welcoming space for gatherings wherever it goes.
Designed for efficiency, our tea stall promises smooth operation, excellent customer service, and effective management. This eco-friendly, multipurpose stall not only boosts local income but also plays a vital role in restoring the ecological beauty of Sajek Valley.
