Project Description
CONCEPT: Sip. Connect & Thrive : Where every cup builds a story and every story builds a community.
At the heart of Kumarpara, where streets hum with stories and laughter flows like the steam from a fresh cup of tea, this stall stands a fleeting yet familiar embrace. It is more than a place to sit; it is a space to gather, to pause, to belong.
Its shade unfolds like the rickshaw hood, sheltering whispers of old friends and strangers yet to meet. The colors dance in the spirit of rickshaw art-bold, untamed, alive mirroring the pulse of the city.
Seats fold, shift, and move, echoing the rhythm of restless conversations, the ebb and flow of life itself. Rooted in tradition, it holds the warmth of an 'uthan', where stories ripple through the air like ripples in a quiet pond. It is not just a tea stall it is a moment, a memory, a place where the community breathes as one.
Inspired by the rickshaw's folding mechanism, a lightweight metal frame supports retractable shading with fabric or polycarbonate panels. Hand- painted rickshaw art on surfaces preserves traditional aesthetics using weather-resistant paints.
Seating follows a foldable, modular system, crafted from steel or bamboo frames with wooden panels, allowing easy movement and adaptability. Rooted in the "uthan' (courtyard) concept, the layout encourages open, interactive gatherings. The structure remains movable and adaptable, embodying the spirit of fluidity and social engagement, making it a dynamic hub for the Kumarpara community.
