Project Description
"সংসদ ঘর" (Sansad Ghor) is not just a regular tea stall; it is a unique community space where people come together to discuss, debate, and exchange ideas over a cup of tea. Inspired by the traditional "Adda" culture of Bengal and the essence of a parliamentary discussion, this tea stall serves as an open forum for intellectual conversations, social debates, and creative brainstorming. The stall is designed like a mini-parliament, symbolizing open dialogue and democratic discussion. Seating arrangements resemble a small benches to encourage face-to-face discussions. Audience: Locals who enjoy engaging in social and political discussions. Office-goers and passersby looking for a break with meaningful conversation. Offerings: A variety of teas, including traditional milk tea, herbal tea, and spiced tea. Light snacks like biscuits, and puffed rice. Special "Debate Nights" or "Adda Sessions" on specific topics. A “Speaker’s Corner” where anyone can take the floor to share thoughts but the ultimate speaker is the tea maker.
