RIVERSIDE TEA STALL
Project Description
This tea stall is an inviting area where one can appreciate the scenery of the Chengi River at Khagacharari, Bangladesh. Constructed of natural materials such as bamboo, wood, and a thatched roof, the structure is found to be harmoniously integrated into the environment. There is open floor seating wherein guests can unwind, sense the wind, and experience the beautiful river scenery.
To provide accessibility to everyone, there is a soft ramp leading to the main seating area and it is easy for everyone visiting to use. The open nature calls for human interaction where tourists, families, and friends get together, share experiences, and enjoy fresh-brewed tea. The raised platform is kept cool and dry, and green materials guarantee sustainability. This tea stall is not just a place to drink tea—it is a peaceful haven where nature, culture, and community meet.
