Project Description

A third place that can be felt in our neighborhood - a place where we can laugh, bicker, debate, and meet new people and turn it into our very own world. It’s a place that caters to all classes, and where anyone is welcomed. From the people who live in mud houses to the concrete world, all are welcomed here and can feel it as their own. For the key theme, we went straight into the rickshaw painting style, as the style can act as a bridge between the working class & the youth through its artistic versatility. As a site, we chose pocket spaces in both urban and rural contexts, as these spaces are often stuffy, frowzy, and high-crime zones. By transforming these into vibrant, sheltered spaces, we can create a beautiful and inclusive community.
