Project Description

The design of tea stall is inspired by the traditional concept of a bot tola, which refers to the shade provided by a large tree, particularly a banyan tree, where people gather to socialize, exchange ideas, and engage in discussions.

The existing tree is the central element of the design. The seating area is planned around the tree to ensure it provides shade and natural beauty, natural materials like wood, bamboo is used to create a rustic and earthy feel that blends with the natural surroundings. The stall has a minimalist, open design, allowing for natural light and air circulation. The bamboos are set in a manner that the air can pass easily through the gaps. A counter space is created by creating a barrier using bamboo.

As the tea stall is focused on a modular design it offers flexibility, functionality, and easy customization while maintaining an aesthetic that complements the local culture and environment. Modular design creates scalability which helps to shrink or expand the size of the space as needed. It also creates spaces including built-in storage spaces for utensils, supplies, and tea ingredients, keeping the stall organized and efficient. As the design of the tea stall is pretty straight forward and not complex at all it can be easily built under any "bot gach" or "osoth gach" or "jarul gach" without harming the tree infact creating it a mandatory element for the teastall.
