Project Description
A tea stall as a space of Metamorphosis of Mind-where people pause, reflect, and reset. It's not just a functional space but a psychological escape from urban chaos. The site here is situated in the Central Urban Area of Pabna City besides a renowned educational institution Govt. Edward College. Half of the day time it is a very chaotic road with urban bazars, but in the later half, this node portrays a different view, students roaming around, different aged people gathering can be seen here and there
This Tea stall is designed for a specially abled tea staller who finds difficulties in regular activities, walks with scratches
Key Elements:
1. Seated workstations. A low-height L shape work space for 28 inches heighted tea-making counter so the seller can comfortably prepare tea while seated in the radius of 24 inches
2. A small ramp
3. Modular extended seating spaces for the evening time to provide a larger space, spaces for newspapers and books at the counter table.
4. Solar panel, two dustbins (for the seller and buyer with partitions of organic and non organic wastes), heighted roof to provide smoke management naturally.
5. Sustainable and Traditional materials like Recycle wood, Bamboos Timber, Bamboo mat are used.
Key Features:
This design symbolizes the calming effect of tea and rest metamorphosis of mental states and give opportunity to escape from the urban chaos while providing a social facilities to specially abled person. Social Collaboration stands here.
