Project Description

For Designing My Tea Stall I have Chosen Mawa Ferry Ghat as my site location. It’s a popular place for river cruises and hila eating. Thousands of boats, launches, ferries, vehicles come across the ghat. So, I take the concept of my tea stall from the water vehicle boat or launch. I have used local and ecofriendly materials, bamboo, wood, and mud trial roof. The stall mainly made of bamboo. The materials that use are very environmentally good for the nature. There is solar light inside the stall. In my tea stall there are proper ventilation and sufficient opening for the customers so that they could enjoy the out-side river view of the ghat. It’s a place of public gathering so I have kept enough spaces for sitting and relaxing. Moreover, is a double height space so that people can enjoy a openly spacious stall with beautiful air flow. There are a counter, stove, kitchen for making tea. Self for necessary elements and snacks. Propper space for the tea maker so that he can work freely. The seats of the stall are also made from bamboo. The level of the teamers workspace is 8 feet and the public sitting space is about 15 feet.
