Project Description

KAAYAL KUDIKKAL the name offers a serene tea experience, blending tranquility with a scenic lake view, making every sip truly refreshing 

DESIGN PARAMETERS: 

TRADITIONAL AESTHETIC: The tea stall is set on a classic wooden boat, featuring a curved bamboo mof providing both shade and a traditional Kerala touch. 

OPEN LAYOUT: features a central compact tea counter with essential equipment (stove,storage,etc) while smart seating maximizes space, ensuring functionality without overcrowding. 

ACCESSIBILITY: Step-like platforms and side entrances ensure easy access. 

FLOATING STABILITY: Balanced design with proper weight distribution minimizes tilting risks 

effectively. 

MOBILE BUSINESS MODEL: Unlike traditional tea stalls, this floating café can travel along backwaters, lakes, or riverbanks, reaching different customers throughout the day. 

CULTURAL CONNECTION blends Kerala's tra heritage and backwater tourism, offering a nostalgic, modem, and time-efficient experience. 

PRODUCT DESIGN: 

CLAY ELEPHANT KETTLE-honors Kerala's heritage, inspired by temple festivals. Crafted from natural clay, it retains heat, enhances flavor, and supports artisans by preserving traditions while promating sustainability. 

COCONUT SHELL TEA CUP-embodies Kerala's heritage, offering a stylish, eco-friendly alternative that reduces waste, supports sustainability, and reflects deep cultural roots. The design is inspired by Kerala traditional house boats creating a mobile tea stall that saves time while providing a great view 

CONCLUSION 

This concept can revolutionize sustainable small-scale businesses, providing a creative way for local entrepreneurs to engage in tourism, hospitality, and cultural preservation. With further design. refinements, the tea stall can become self-sufficient, offering an eco-conscious and immersive tea drinking experience on the water.
