Bangladesh
Bangladesh, a land tangled with water, sees its cities and villages settled beside rivers, canals, and wetlands. During the monsoon, rising waters flood the landscape, yet the love for tea remains unwavering. People gather on riverbanks, embracing the charm of tea with delicate aroma in the fresh, rain-soaked air.
In our country, tea makers are known for their wisdom on every topic-except, perhaps, the art of making tea itself! Inspired by this unique cultural phenomenon, we envision a floating tea stall crafted from a traditional wooden boat. This stall not only preserves the tea-drinking habit but also enhances the experience with scenic beauty, especially during floods.
Beyond serving tea, this floating stall offers an immersive experience. The shade above the boat will feature the history and classification of tea, enriching visitors with knowledge as they sip their brew. While maintaining the fundamental functions of a traditional tea stall, this design blends heritage, functionality, and storytelling-making it a space where conversations flow as seamlessly as the rivers of Bangladesh.
