Project Description
The concept of this tea stall focuses on supporting tea workers in Bangladesh, who earn less than $2 a day for picking 20 kg of leaves, leaving them unable to afford basic necessities like education and healthcare.
The proposed tea stall will help improve their situation by generating revenue that supports the community. The stall will raise awareness of the workers' struggles and could offer them employment opportunities, or even help them gain financial independence by enabling them to own a stall themselves.
The stall will also promote CHAMU, a sustainable material made from reprocessed tea waste, used to create eco-friendly products. Tea workers from Bangladesh will create these products, offering new employment and income opportunities. The eco-friendly items promote sustainability and support local communities.
