Project Description

Cup Of Story Concept Brief:

Cup of Story is a place where every cup of tea holds a tale. connecting people through shared experiences, creativity, and conversation. Through open mics, interactive storytelling, and community initiatives, it makes storytelling inclusive and engaging. So the form was developed from the shape of the cup.


Context Brief:

This is Tangail Municipal Park, located in the heart of the city. It is known as one of the main gathering places for the people of Tangail. Every day, many residents of Tangail visit this park to meel and share moments of joy. As a result, it has become a symbol of Tangail city. That's why many tea stalls have sprung up there. It seems that the people of Tangail ho d the stories of different times in their cups of tea.

From that idea, a tea stall has been created that embodies the heritage of Tangail, This stall presents the century-old traditions of Tangail, including its Tat silpo and cottage crafts, bringing these stories to the people.


Form Details:

The bamboo frames are made from local materials that are easily available, eco-friendly. and easily assembled, holding the roofs together with the lower bamboo structure. Here, the century-old tradition of Tangail's Tat silp handicraft has been used, which represents the culture and history of the region. Hooks where snacks and other food iterns will be hung. Wooden Self Where there will be kettle, washing and servicing facilities as well as a self-service store downstairs.
