Project Description

A Wearable Tea Stall - A Mobile Solution for Urban Vendors

The Wearable Tea Stall is an innovative, portable solution designed to enhance mobility and efficiency for urban tea vendors. By transforming a traditional tea stall into a wearable format, this concept enables vendors to operate in high-footfall areas such as streets, markets, and traffic jams. The stall is designed to be lightweight, ergonomic, and self-sufficient, making tea vending more accessible and efficient for unemployed youth and small entrepreneurs.

This wearable stall includes a 5L thermoflask with a nozzle spray system, ensuring easy and efficient hot water dispensing. A thermo signal indicator displays water levels for seamless operation, while a mini storage unit and cup dispenser provide organized ingredient storage. An expandable hood, similar to an umbrella, offers shade and shelter for vendors, ensuring comfort during long working hours. The ergonomic design, supported by a shoulder and hip harness, distributes weight evenly, making it easier to carry as it weighs around 15% of the average Bangladeshi individual's weight. A small stove allows for reheating water, ensuring flexibility and uninterrupted service, while a foldable table acts as a preparation area and can be set up as a semi-permanent stall when needed.

Designed to support unemployed youth, this solution encourages street entrepreneurship by providing a low-cost business opportunity. It makes fresh, hot tea more accessible to people on the go while enhancing vendor efficiency by reducing setup time and increasing customer reach. Additionally, the mobility of this stall allows vendors to explore different selling locations, maximizing profitability and customer engagement. By redefining tea vending with a mobile, cost-effective, and ergonomic approach, the Wearable Tea Stall ensures sustainability in urban street businesses and serves as a model for future innovations in street vending.
