Project Description

WHERE FUNCTIONALITY MEETS VISIONARY DELIGHT.

Amidst the rhythmic bustle of Jinjira, where hawlers call, pulleys toil, and fisherman return with their catch of the day, a humble yet visionary sanctuary emerges.

ROOTED IN LOCALITY AND INSPIRED BY CRAFT

The building, made of locally sourced wood, reflects Jinjira's ethos of resourcefulness, groundedness, and intrinsic sustainability. The stall's organic timber framework merges perfectly with its surroundings while also paying respect to the region's traditional craftsmanship. Designed for simple setup and long-lasting performance

FOLDABLE MODULAR DESIGN

Makes efficient use of space by allowing the stall to extend during peak hours and fold away when not in use. This versatility is essential in hectic markets where every inch counts.

A ROOF THAT TELLS A STORY

Above, the roof structure whispers stories about the Bangladeshi rickshaw, a symbol of endurance and movement. Inspired by the beautiful curves and protective canopies of rickshaws, the roof protects visitors from the sun and rain, creating a spot where the tired can rest without haste.

A HAVEN FOR THE TIRELESS

This tea stand, designed with hawkers, fisherman, vegetable merchants, and workers in mind, is more than just a break in their busy day; it is a moment of comfort, a location for exchange, and a representation of the community's enduring spirit
