Project Description

Our site is located at Robindra Sarobar, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Rabin- dra Sarobar is a popular recreational space having a chaotic environment all the day. It is ideal for attracting visitors to grab a refreshing cup of tea while enjoying the surroding.

This foldable tea stall design reflects the natural beauty of its lakeside location, with a roof that mimics the fluid and wavy pat- terns of water. The stall is an affordable solution crafted primarily from wood, with a steel structure supporting the roof. The roof itself is made from a sustainable, waterproof fabric that allows for flexibility, as it can be extended or retracted depending on the needs of the stall. When closed, the roof fabric covers the cart, ensuring protection from the elements.

The color scheme of the tea stall was thoughtfully chosen. The bright yellow hue serves to attract attention and radiates warmth, while the bottle green represents the surrounding nature, creating a connection with the environment. Mobility is made easy with a wheel at the bottom, allowing the stall to be moved effortlessly.

The design also features a box storage system to organize mate- rials, along with dedicated spaces for the water boiler and gas tank used for making tea. Glass cups are used, promoting reus- ability and contributing to a more sustainable environment. A newspaper and book holder further enhances the experience, encouraging visitors to relax and enjoy their tea. This design combines functionality with aesthetic appeal, providing a practi- cal yet eco-friendly solution for a mobile tea stall.
